About FirstMove

FirstMove is the presence layer for physical spaces. When a venue switches on a VibeZone, the people inside can find each other through a consent-first protocol where nothing reaches anyone who hasn't opted in, and nothing persists after the night ends. We're live on iOS and Android, running our own SoulFire event series, and expanding across venues and campuses.

The role

You own venue supply. Your job is to get VibeZones switched on in the best rooms in the city (clubs, bars, lounges, rooftops, restaurants, gyms and third spaces) and to make sure they actually fill once they're live. This is field work. You will be in venues most evenings.

What you'll do

• Build and work a pipeline of target venues by tier and neighbourhood
• Run first meetings with owners, GMs and promoters, and close activation agreements
• Run the activation yourself: brief door and floor staff, place QR codes, be present for the first three nights
• Hit and report the number that matters: opt-ins per activation, not venues signed
• Feed venue objections and drop-off reasons back to product weekly
• Recruit and manage a small team of street/campus ambassadors
• Keep the CRM current and produce a weekly pipeline and activation report

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years in field sales, nightlife partnerships, promotions, FMCG trade or event sales
• An existing network among venue owners, managers or promoters in Lagos or Abuja
• Comfortable opening cold and closing in person, repeatedly
• Willing to work nights and weekends. That's when the product runs
• Organised enough to keep a pipeline honest without being chased
• Can explain a technical product in one sentence to someone who doesn't care about technology

Nice to have

• Experience launching a consumer app into venues
• Relationships with festival or event organisers
• Anything hospitality-side

Compensation

Base plus commission on live, repeat-activating venues, not on signatures. Range shared with shortlisted candidates. Phone, data and transport covered.
