The social layer that only works when you're already in the room. Free on iOS and Android.
Not a nightlife app. A VibeZone can switch on in a park, a gym, a coffee shop, a conference floor, or a club. If people gather there, FirstMove fits.
You walk past 500 potential connections a day. You speak to none of them. You go home and tell an AI chatbot how your day went.
Dating apps reduced people to swipes. Feeds reduced moments to scroll. Cold approaches feel awkward at best, threatening at worst. So nobody moves. The room stays quiet.
We didn't build another social network. The world has enough of those.
We built the bit that's been missing. A safe, mutual way to make the first move when you're already in the room.

Three steps. Both parties have to mean it. Nothing happens without mutual consent.
Spot someone interesting nearby. Send a Knock. They see you noticed. Nothing happens unless they Knock back.
If the interest is mutual, a Challenge confirms it. Two people, both opted in, both ready. No accidental matches, no DM spam.
Now you can talk. A short chat built to push you toward saying hello in person. When the place closes its VibeZone, the chat ends with it.
Profiles only exist while you're in the VibeZone. The chat closes when the event ends. Nothing follows you home.
Nothing happens without mutual opt-in. The handshake is the product.
Profiles, chats, and presence reset when the event ends. No long-term digital residue.
Location data stays inside the geofence. We don't follow you home.
The win condition is you putting the phone down and saying hello.
A live feed of what's happening around you. Bars, parks, gyms, gigs, conferences, club nights, festivals, pop-ups. Wherever people gather.

AfroNation (Portimão, Portugal)
“FirstMove turned my AfroNation experience into a nonstop vibe. I jumped into the ‘Afrobeat Dance-Off’ zone and instantly found fellow fans to groove with no awkward intros needed. The 3-Way Handshake ritual felt safe and fun, and I earned Spark Credits for every new connection. By the end of Day 2, I had made more connections than I ever could on my own. The LaunchPad is a real vibe. I can’t imagine a festival without it now!”

Wimbledon (London, UK)
“As a lifelong tennis fan, I’ve never felt more connected at Wimbledon. FirstMove auto-spun a ‘Strawberries & Cream’ Vibe Zone in the Henman Hill area. Within seconds, I was trading tactics with complete strangers who share my love for serve-and-volley. The ephemeral profiles kept things low pressure, and the challenges were fun. Truly a game changer for socializing at Wimbledon.”

Abuja (Nigeria)
“FirstMove helped me make real connections at Abuja’s Startup Meetup. I tapped the ‘Grab a Beer’ Vibe Zone at the lounge bar and met four new entrepreneurs I’d never have dared approach on my own. The privacy-first design meant I stayed anonymous until we all shook hands. No spammers, no unwanted follow-ups. Weeks later, I’m still collaborating with two of them on a new fintech project!”

FirstMove is the presence layer for the physical world. Walk into a venue, festival, conference or campus running a VibeZone and the app switches on, letting you connect with people who are actually in the room through a consent-first protocol called the 3-Way Handshake. Walk out and it switches off.
No. FirstMove is not a dating app, a ticketing platform, or another social network to maintain. There is no swiping, no follower count and no social graph to build. People use it to meet collaborators at a conference, find their crew at a festival, or say hello to someone at a gig. Romance is one possible outcome, never the product.
Three steps. Knock: signal that you noticed someone nearby. Challenge: if the interest is mutual, both sides confirm it. Connect: a short chat built to push you toward saying hello in person. Nothing reaches anyone who has not opted in, so there are no unsolicited messages and no accidental matches.
Your profile only exists while you are inside the VibeZone. When the event ends, the profile, the chat and your presence end with it. Location data stays inside the geofence, so you are not tracked between venues. Privacy is the architecture here, not a setting you toggle. Full detail is on our security page.
FirstMove is free for attendees on both iOS and Android. There is no premium tier for meeting people. Venues, organisers and promoters pay for the partner platform, and those plans are set out on our pricing page.
No. Adding FirstMove costs you nothing you already have. Keep your ticketing, your box office and your audience exactly where they are, then switch on a VibeZone for the room itself. If you would rather consolidate, FirstMove Partners ships ticketing, payouts and white-label event pages too, with no fee at all on free events and paid ticketing from 2.5% + £0.30. Either way, the VibeZone is the reason your room changes.
Anywhere people gather and a VibeZone has been switched on. Bars, parks, gyms, festivals, gigs, clubs, conferences, campuses, cafés and co-working spaces. If people gather there, FirstMove fits.
