A platform that does everything does the room last. FirstMove does the room first, and does nothing else.
Swapcard runs the programme. FirstMove runs the only part delegates actually remember.
Running an entire event: agenda, sessions, exhibitors, sponsors, matchmaking and reporting, across in-person, virtual and hybrid formats. Breadth is the proposition.
One layer, done to a standard breadth cannot reach. FirstMove runs the consent-first social protocol inside the venue so the people who paid to be in the room meet each other. That focus is the product.
| FirstMoveThe Presence Layer | SwapcardFull event platform | |
|---|---|---|
| Focus | One layer, built to win it | Broad. The room is one module among many |
| Consent model | No contact at all until both sides opt in | Contact is generally possible once you are listed |
| Attendee experience | Nobody is scanned, listed or collected | Lead capture is a core exhibitor feature |
| Data after the event | Profiles and chats end with the event | Retained for organiser and exhibitor follow-up |
| Physical presence | Required. That constraint is what makes it work | Optional. Virtual and hybrid supported |
| Venue types | Any gathering, from a trade show floor to a gym | Conferences and trade shows |
Swapcard is described by what it is built for. Feature lists change. The boundary does not.
FirstMove is deliberately physical and deliberately narrow. There is no agenda module, no exhibitor manager and no virtual stage, because every one of those would pull focus from the layer that decides whether an event is remembered. Run your programme on whatever you like. Run the room on FirstMove.
Tap a question to expand.
No. FirstMove carries no agenda, session or exhibitor management. It is the social layer, and it runs alongside whatever is delivering your programme.
No, by design. Nobody is scanned, listed or collected. A sponsor has to earn a real conversation, which is worth considerably more than a scanned badge and is why delegates engage with it at all.
No. Presence inside a geofence is the entire mechanism. If your attendees are at home they are not in a room, and no presence layer can change that. Choosing the physical world is what makes the in-room experience uncompromised.
Keep the stack you have. Add the layer you do not. We will walk you through what a VibeZone looks like in your venue.
